Jovelyn Clark

President and Managing Partner

Jovelyn Clark is a globally oriented executive, entrepreneur, and strategic leader whose professional experience spans healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products, finance, construction, and international brand development. Her career reflects a rare combination of operational discipline, creative vision, and cross-border business expertise—qualities that now define her leadership as President and Managing Partner of 54 Card Roulette, one of the gaming industry’s most innovative patented casino table games.

Born in a small provincial town in the Philippines, Ms. Clark demonstrated early determination and academic excellence, earning her nursing credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) after graduating from the University of Bohol. Seeking broader professional and entrepreneurial opportunities, she relocated to the United States, where her career quickly evolved beyond traditional paths and into business leadership.

Her early entry into the U.S. business landscape began with an online consumer products company specializing in confectionery distribution. Through strong operational instincts and leadership ability, she rapidly advanced to the role of Production Manager, overseeing end-to-end business operations including inventory systems, call-center management, customer service infrastructure, order processing, logistics coordination, and national fulfillment operations. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in scalable business systems and operational efficiency within high-volume commercial environments.

During the early stages of her professional journey, Ms. Clark was also discovered by the modeling and acting industry, where she went on to build a successful and sustained presence. Among her early media appearances was a nationally aired television commercial for MGM Casinos, an experience that introduced her to the global casino and hospitality industry. That early exposure sparked a lasting appreciation for the culture, sophistication, and scale of casino entertainment—an experience that would later come full circle in her executive leadership role within the gaming sector.

Rather than remaining solely within entertainment, Ms. Clark leveraged her growing network, business acumen, and entrepreneurial instincts to transition into launching and scaling multiple business ventures across international markets. Her entrepreneurial portfolio includes founding an international currency exchange and money-transfer operation facilitating financial transactions between the United States and the Philippines. She later established and operated a manpower and staffing agency in Cebu City, where she managed recruitment pipelines, employee background verification, workforce placement, and staffing solutions for corporate clients across multiple industries.

Expanding further into consumer product development and brand creation, Ms. Clark launched a premium rum brand produced from rare, locally sourced Philippine ingredients—combining traditional craftsmanship with international marketing strategy. She also founded a natural body-care and soap company, which achieved notable commercial success through product quality, branding, and market positioning. Through these ventures, Ms. Clark developed deep expertise in international trade, product branding, operational management, and cross-border business development.

Today, Ms. Clark serves as President and equity partner of 54 Card Roulette, the patented casino table game that uniquely combines the strategic elements of poker with the iconic mechanics of roulette. In this role, she plays a central role in shaping the company’s international branding strategy, product presentation, and global expansion initiatives. Her leadership is particularly instrumental in positioning the game for Asian gaming markets, while also supporting the company’s long-term expansion strategy across Europe and international casino jurisdictions.

Ms. Clark’s global perspective, entrepreneurial experience, and multicultural fluency uniquely position her to help guide the international rollout of 54 Card Roulette as the company pursues licensing, distribution, and casino partnerships worldwide. Her leadership represents a modern executive profile—globally fluent, operationally disciplined, strategically creative, and relentlessly entrepreneurial.

What began as an early introduction to the casino industry through media and entertainment has ultimately evolved into executive leadership within one of the gaming industry’s most innovative and patented table-game concepts.

Nicholas Calvet

Nicholas Calvet

Chief Operating Officer & Partner

Nicholas Calvet is a casino operations professional and entrepreneur whose career combines business development, operational leadership, and hands-on casino floor experience. His background spans manufacturing, sales management, and live table games—giving him a rare perspective that bridges the gap between game invention and real-world casino deployment.

He began his career in the printing industry with American Speedy Printing in Birmingham, Michigan, later launching and operating a franchise in Mount Clemens. There, he managed production, staffing, and customer fulfillment, growing the business into a million-dollar annual operation. He went on to found Cougar Printing, an independent brokerage he scaled from zero to over $1 million in annual sales within four years, operating a highly efficient, low-overhead model that maximized profitability and eliminated receivables risk.

In 2013, Nicholas entered the gaming industry after completing dealer training and joining MGM Grand Detroit as a professional table games dealer. Through extensive time on the casino floor, he developed a deep understanding of player psychology, dealer presentation, and table dynamics—key factors that determine whether a game succeeds in a live environment.

Following his tenure at MGM Grand Detroit, Nicholas transitioned into a business development and operational leadership role with Light & Wonder, a global leader in casino and digital gaming innovation. There, he played a key role in launching and scaling an online gaming studio from inception, contributing to its operational framework, performance standards, and strategic growth initiatives. He supported expansion efforts across multiple channels, gaining firsthand exposure to the corporate architecture of game development, digital deployment, compliance integration, and marketplace distribution. This experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how gaming products are engineered, positioned, and commercialized at an enterprise level.

Nicholas believes the success of any casino game depends heavily on how it is presented to the player. A dealer must not only manage the mechanics of the game but create an engaging, shared experience that builds excitement and keeps players at the table longer.

Today, as Chief Operating Officer and Partner of 54 Card Roulette, Nicholas plays a central role in the commercialization and operational deployment of the game. He oversees dealer training, casino integration, player engagement strategy, and real-world testing, ensuring the game performs effectively in live environments. His hands-on experience provides a critical advantage, ensuring 54 Card Roulette is not only innovative, but intuitive for players and efficient for casino operations.

By bridging the gap between invention and casino-floor reality, Nicholas helps ensure the game’s successful adoption in casinos.
